AVESIS (Academic Data Management System)
AVESIS is a database system designed for the documentation and management of academic activities – including research work, publications, projects, conference participation, teaching activities, and other scholarly work.
Interest in the implementation of this system is increasing among universities in Azerbaijan. The main objectives are: To manage the activities of academic staff more effectively; To improve the quality of scientific research; To provide more transparent information for international rankings.
UNEC is among the first universities in the country to implement this system. At UNEC, the AVESIS system enables the scholarly publications of academic staff to be recorded on a unified platform. It also provides each faculty member and researcher with an individual academic profile, among other functionalities.
The AVESIS system ensures the systematic monitoring of the academic productivity of faculty members and researchers.
